With reference to my letter of the 2nd March last and to previous correspondence on the subject of the proposed Rifle Ranges behind Kowloon City, I am directed to enquire whether the Military Authorities will be prepared to undertake in due course when the question is finally settled the construction of the butts at the New Ranges, and whether an approximate estimate of the cost of the work can be furnished in order that provision may be made for the work in next year's Colonial Estimates.
